Programme 2023-2024
The Belfast Speakers’ Circle will meet from at the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast 25th Sept 2023 until 20th May 2024 a total of 17 evenings at a cost of just £100 for the whole year!
The first three evenings of the year will be focused on New Members giving everyone the opportunity to view current Circle members in action including delivering testimonies on how membership of the Circle has been an extremely valuable experience.
Following the introductory evenings all members will have the opportunity throughout the year to try many different forms of public speaking. We have included a list below that outlines many of the public speaking opportunities available -
# A prepared speech
# An impromptu speech
# Talking about an item picked out of a hat at random
# Sight reading
# Poetry or prose reading
# Storytelling
The advantage of this system is that it allows members to concentrate or work on exactly what they want to. We believe it also provides a platform for exploration into other unfamiliar areas of Public Speaking.
